Spika has designed the EconoFoam Xm-II especially for the needs of rural fire departments.  With the capability to be incorporated into systems up to 300 psi and developing as much as a 1 percent solution at 100 gpm discharge, the EconoFoam fits the needs of most wildland systems. Housed within a powder-coated rust-proof aluminum housing, the 1-1/2" stainless steel plumbing is plumbed into the discharge circuit just prior to the discharge hose. No foam ever makes contact with the water pump, and foam can not be inadvertently discharged back into the tank. One switch turns the system on, one valve regulates the volume of concentrate being injected, while a flow switch monitors system flow, starting and stopping the injection with the discharge stream.

Available as a separate add-on component or incorporated into our Deluxe Control Panel, the EconoFoam Xm-II is easy to install and operate.  Kit includes:

Perhaps the greatest feature of the EconoFoam is its one-step flushing process.  A half-turn of the selector control knob switches from foam concentrate to fresh water, effectively flushing the entire system clean in seconds. No more sticky, plugged up foam systems that won't work!  The see-through flow meter allows accurate and positive metering of concentrate, allowing anything from a sudsy, surface-tension-breaking solution to a full-bodied, vertically-clinging foam!
