By coupling a rugged yet lightweight transport dolly with matched over-reaching work stands that incorporate the unique and valuable features found only on Spika platforms, this modular system saves valuable time and labor.

In the past, those who preferred the functionality of landing carts found it nearly impossible to easily and safely access the prime maintenance areas, as the platform prevented work-stands from reaching the aircraft.  With this unique system, that problem is completely alleviated. Whether with one, two, or three work decks, the maintainer now can access the key areas quickly, safely, and efficiently. That equates to less down-time, less worker fatigue, and a much safer work environment.

With ground handling platforms available in 10, 12, and 14-foot widths and 12, 14, and 16-foot lengths, these rugged carts can handle the most demanding applications.  Features include:

Work stands are available for many skid-type aircraft, and are designed specifically to work with Spika’s handling platforms. With lengths and heights specific to the needs of the particular aircraft, the work platforms can be equipped with many desirable features found only on Spika maintenance platforms.
