Spika has introduced an innovative way of transporting, supporting, handling, and positioning medium and large aviation components.  The UIS support system incorporates robust plunger pins to affix a variety of component-specific fixtures to handling equipment, including towable trailers, shop service trolleys, engine cans, and truck-mounted transport frames.  Developed with input from the Army Special Operations Air Regiment, the UIS is designed to simplify component handling and improve throughput and efficiency. All aluminum, lightweight and corrosion resistant, the system offers many advantages over rail-mount systems.  Adapters are available to convert many rail-mount fixtures to work on UIS handling equipment. If we don't currently offer an adapter to meet your needs, contact us and we will work with you to design one.
