Constructed of lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum, the UIS Transport Trailer is a robust, versatile support and mobility fixture designed to accommodate all UIS interchange adapters.  With fore- and aft-mounted receivers, the trailer provides the ability to mount an engine, gearbox, or other component on each end, while allowing 360° access to each component, something the old rail trailers could not do. The trailer employs automotive-type steering with replaceable sphere-ends, drum brakes with manual brake levers at the rear of the trailer, standard automotive tires, a pintle ring/lunette, and a pintle hook on the rear for towing two trailers.

An extended reach version of the UIS Transport Trailer is also available for transporting large components such as rotor blades.
