Stands for Productivity

Spika Welding and Manufacturing specializes in designing, developing, and manufacturing innovative and industry-leading helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft maintenance stands for military war fighters and maintainers, as well as for commercial aircraft maintenance facilities.  Our stands and platforms meet or exceed OSHA requirements while promoting process efficiency by drastically improving upper-level access for your maintainers and technicians. The company’s competencies in design, development, and manufacture of aerospace and defense equipment translate into products that serve the maintenance and safety needs of a variety of other industries as well, including manufacturing, agriculture and railroad.

Our Humble Beginnings

In the past ten years, Spika has grown from a two-person Spika Shopfabrication shop nestled on a farm in Central Montana to a multi-million dollar company offering innovative and high-quality solutions for maintenance and safety needs. Tom Spika, the founder of the company, has all of the characteristics you would expect from a real Montanan; he values hard work, trustworthiness, community, and honest communication. He takes pride in his work, and he expects the same from every employee and supplier.  When Tom saw the equipment our servicemen were using to maintain their aircraft, he knew it could be built better, and it should be built better. So he set out to create a product that would be both high-quality and easy to use, both safe and effective. These characteristics are what helped make Spika the respected company it is today, and the preferred manufacturer of maintenance and safety equipment. All Spika products embody those values; they are innovative, user-friendly, of superior quality, and customizable to meet any unique need.
